Do not eat too many eggs in a day, otherwise your health will deteriorate instead of improving.

Eggs are rich in protein as well as many nutrients. In such a situation, the biggest question is how much egg eating every day is beneficial for health?

Eggs are rich in essential nutrients like protein, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B12, vitamin D, selenium and iodine. It also contains choline, iron and folate in large quantities. Which is very healthy for the body and helps in maintaining health. Eggs contain cholesterol, which is something that is beneficial for your health and if its level becomes high then it can also trouble you. But should you stop eating it just because of this one thing? 

Increase in bad cholesterol can cause heart disease.

We all know that increase in cholesterol causes maximum damage to the heart. Because if your cholesterol increases then you may suffer from heart disease. Or the risk of heart attack may also increase. There are two types of cholesterol. One healthy and the other unhealthy. Healthy cholesterol creates healthy cells and tissues as well as hormones like estrogen, testosterone and adrenaline which are very good for the body. The problem occurs when unhealthy cholesterol increases in the body. And not only cholesterol but also LDL and bad cholesterol increases. 

High level of LDL cholesterol is dangerous for heart disease and stroke.

Whereas high levels of LDL cholesterol increase your risk for heart disease and stroke. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that HDL cholesterol traps cholesterol in the blood and takes it back to the liver for elimination. This is why HDL cholesterol plays the most important role in reducing the risk of heart related problems. 

Eggs contain healthy cholesterol

Eggs contain high levels of cholesterol but they are not harmful to health. These are quite different from the cholesterol present in other food items. Just as fat and unhealthy fat contain cholesterol, they are different. 

Only this many eggs a day are good for your health.

One large egg contains about 186 mg of cholesterol. Which is present in the entire yolk. Doctors recommend eating a whole egg daily. A research published in 'The Korean Journal Food Science of Animal Resources' found that eating 2-7 eggs per week helped maintain high HDL cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of metabolic syndrome. Whereas eating 2 eggs daily does not cause any harm to your body.
