Atal Housing Scheme has been started by the Uttar Pradesh Government. Under this scheme, government schools of the state will be connected. In this scheme of UP government, admission will be given to the poor, labourers, orphans and economically weak children of the state. Under this scheme, students will be given completely free education.
Under Atal Awas Yojana, residential schools will be opened in total 18 divisions of the state. In this, free education will be provided up to primary, junior as well as secondary classes. Registration in Labor Department is necessary
The benefit of this scheme issued by the UP government will be provided to such workers who have got themselves registered in the labor department. The condition is that one year has been completed after registration. A registered laborer can get his two children admitted in Atal Residential School.
Who can take admission?
Students taking admission in Atal Awas Yojana must have passed 5th class. The age of students should be more than 10 years and less than 13 years. Under this scheme the admission process starts every year. Entrance examination is also organized for admission in it. Admission is given only on the basis of performance in this examination. Shortlisted candidates are given admission in the respective school.
