The second match of the four-match ODI series between England and New Zealand (ENG vs NZ) was played at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton. In this match, fast bowler Trent Boult wreaked havoc on the English batsmen with his deadly bowling, who has returned to the national team after almost 10 months. Boult took three wickets but the wicket of wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow attracted everyone's attention as Mitchell Santner took a brilliant catch at extra cover.
Actually, New Zealand got the wicket of Bairstow in the third over of the innings. Bairstow went to play a flick shot on the first ball of the over but the ball took the outer edge of his bat and rose up in the air. Santner was already positioned at extra cover and he took a wonderful catch with his left hand, leaping high in the air. Bairstow returned to the pavilion after scoring only 6 runs.
