Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's film Gadar 2 has created history in six weeks. Gadar 2 has become the highest grossing film of all the films released in Hindi so far. Earlier this record was in the name of Shahrukh Khan's film Pathan. Now Sunny Deol has slowly but surely achieved that position which is the dream of every star.
Shahrukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone's film Pathan came on the big screen in the month of January this year. This film changed the history of the box office after its release. It broke all previous records and came at number one in terms of earnings in Hindi. However, now Shahrukh's record has been broken by Sunny Deol.
The Hindi version of Pathan did a business of Rs 521.95 crore in 50 days. However, in India, including Tamil and Telugu, the film did a business of Rs 540.51 crore. Whereas Gadar 2 was released only in Hindi language and this film overtook Pathan by earning a total of Rs 522 crore in 6 weeks.

If we look at the earnings of the Hindi version of Pathan, the film made Rs 351 crore in the first week, Rs 91.5 crore in the second week, Rs 45.65 crore in the third week, Rs 13.95 crore in the fourth week, Rs 8.45 crore in the fifth week, Rs. 8.85 crores and in the seventh week did a business of Rs 2.55 crores.
Let us tell you that Gadar 2 has been directed by Anil Sharma. This is the sequel to the 2001 superhit film Gadar. After the release of the film, the audience gave it a lot of love. Talking about Pathan, this film has been directed by Siddharth Anand. This was an action packed film, which was liked very much by the audience.
