Hindi has expanded all over the world. Hindi has now emerged stronger and is expanding rapidly. The world has also started looking towards Hindi with hopeful eyes. Even though the working culture of the Indian government runs on the basis of English, even today when Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks in Hindi while touring the world and communicates with people in Hindi, it has significance. Along with being the PM, he also becomes the ambassador of Hindi.
When the Indians living abroad listen to him and clap, the foreigners present in the auditorium get attracted towards Hindi. When Atal Vihari Bajpayee gave his first speech in Hindi in the United Nations as a minister, thunderous applause was heard in the House. This was the effect of his speech-language style.
Hindi films are now being released in the country as well as abroad. The amount of business that is done in the country is often equal to that done from abroad. 15-20 years ago, no film producer even thought of doing a business of Rs. 100 crores, but today we have many films which are growing even after doing business of several hundred crores. Google's Hindi improved: Many years ago, Google recognized the strength of Hindi and started many changes in itself. From time to time, Google invited many Hindi scholars, including Hindi professor Ashok Chakradhar and renowned poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas, to its US headquarters and digitized the Hindi language through them. Just five years ago Google's Hindi was very bad. Today is very wonderful. There remains scope for improvement but the way an American company has worked on Hindi is praiseworthy.
Reach of Hindi films worldwide: Hindi films have a big role in expanding Hindi. Today, Bollywood films are not only being released in the country, they are also being screened simultaneously in foreign countries. After Aamir's film Dangal, now such an environment has been created that even in a country like China, Hindi films have a strong influence. These days, Sunny Deol's Gadar-2 and Shahrukh Khan's Jawan are competing with each other in the country and the world. Lyricist Avinash Tripathi says that due to films, Amitabh Bachchan's popularity was already in America and Europe, but Aamir, Salman and Shahrukh took it to China and Japan as well. Now it is difficult to say in how many countries Hindi films are being released simultaneously.
Third most spoken language: Hindi is the third most spoken language in the world. More than 602 million people speak Hindi all over the world. The first place is English and the second place is Chinese. Today there are many countries where you can speak Hindi without any hesitation.
Nepal accepted as national language: Hindi scholar Prof. According to Ravindra Nath Srivastava alias Parichay Das, Nepal has recognized Hindi as the national language. Awadhi-Bhojpuri has also been considered as the national language by the government here. Hindi is being taught in Fiji's schools. Fiji University has also started teaching Hindi in BA. The facts available on the official language website show that Hindi has constitutional status as a minority language in Fiji, Guiana, Suriname, Tobago and Trinidad and United Arab Emirates.
Hindi training centers in 175 countries: There are many Hindi teaching-training centers in 175 countries of the world. Hindi courses are offered in more than 180 universities. Hindi is being taught in more than a hundred schools, colleges and universities in America alone. The number of Hindi speakers in America, England, Germany, South Africa, Nepal, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore, Yemen and Uganda is more than two crore.
Impact of Hindi's popularity and culture in foreign countries: Official language website says that Hindi holds an important place in countries like Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Maldives because the number of Indians is in abundance here. At the same time, the reason for the popularity of Hindi in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Mongolia, Korea, Japan is the influence of Indian culture on the people there. America, Australia, Canada and many countries of Europe see Hindi as a modern language. Hindi has influence in Gulf countries, Afghanistan, Qatar, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan due to many other reasons.
Number of Hindi speaking people increased in the South: According to the 2011 census, the number of Hindi speaking people has also increased in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. 53 crore people in the country speak Hindi, second place is Bengali and third place is Marathi. Today this number would definitely have increased. While in the year 1971, 37 percent people in the country spoke Hindi, today this number has increased to 43.6 percent. Which confirms that the number of Hindi speaking people is increasing not only outside the country but also within the country.
