Now the bill will be sent to the President
Let us tell you that in Rajya Sabha, 214 votes were cast in favor of the bill, while not a single vote was cast against the bill. The bill will now be sent to President Draupadi Murmu. As soon as they get their approval, it will be converted into law. After the passing of the Women's Reservation Bill, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha were adjourned indefinitely and the special session of Parliament ended.
