Grandmother got punished for grandson's love marriage in Samastipur, Bihar. The girl's family first beat up the 70-year-old woman and then set her bed on fire. After which the woman was taken to the hospital where she died during treatment. The incident took place on 17th September and the woman died on 19th September. This heart-wrenching incident is from Mathurapur area of the city. The woman has given a statement to the Patna Police before dying. After which Samastipur police is registering a case and taking action on the basis of the woman's statement.
It is being told about the incident that Ankit, son of Manoj Sah, brother of tent house businessman Lalit Prasad Sah, living near Khatu Shyam Mandir, had a love affair with Sapna, a resident of the neighborhood. Both of them liked each other since childhood. But due to the caste of both of them being different, the family members did not give consent for the marriage. Then both of them got married on 15 September. Both of them first got their marriage registered in the court and then went to the temple and got married.
Sapna's family threatened to kill Ankit
After this marriage, Sapna's family got angry and created a ruckus after reaching Ankit's house. During this he threatened to eliminate Ankit. After this, Sapna's family has been accused of killing Ankit's grandmother by burning her. Regarding the incident, Lalit Prasad told that his 70-year-old mother Ramdulari Devi was sleeping alone in the shop of the tent house on the night of 17 September.
At that time, tent work was going on in Khatu Shyam Mandir, hence the door of the shop was open. During this time, Sapna's father Niranjan Paswan along with some people reached there searching for Ankit. Then Ramdulari Devi told them that Ankit was not present here. After this, Niranjan Paswan and the people accompanying him beat up the woman and then set her bed on fire.
Woman has given statement in front of Patna Police
Hearing the screams of the woman, the family members reached there and then took the woman to DMCH where due to the serious condition, she was referred to PMCH Patna. The woman died during treatment here on September 19. Ramdulari Devi has given statement to Patna Police before her death. On the basis of the woman's statement, a case has been registered against 6 people including Niranjan Paswan. Here the accused is absconding after the case was registered.
