Hartalika Teej has a special significance in Hindu religion for which every married woman eagerly waits. On this day, married women observe a fast for their husbands and pray for his long life. Like every year, this year too Hartalika Teej will be celebrated on the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. The timing of this date starts on 17th September at 11:08 am and ends on 18th September at 12:39 pm. Udayatithi is valid for every festival, hence this year Hartalika Teej will be celebrated only on 18th September. This year, on the day of Hartalika Teej, the combination of Swati Nakshatra is also being formed and worshiping at this auspicious time brings good fortune.
