Hartalika Teej Ratri Jagran: Hartalika Teej, considered an important fast of Hindu religion, is celebrated every year on the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of the month of Bhadon. On this day, married women observe a 24-hour waterless fast for the long life of their husbands. According to the Puranas, by observing this fast the husband lives longer and remains healthy. Every year Hartalika Teej is celebrated on the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. This year, the timing of Tritiya Tithi will start on September 17 at 11:08 am and will end on September 18 at 12:39 pm. Udaya Tithi has great importance in the worship of Teej, hence the fast of Hartalika Teej will be observed on 18th September.
