These symptoms can appear in the body after a heart attack

check pulse

If you see someone around you gasping for breath, the first thing you need to do is check for pulse. One way to check the pulse is to place two fingers on the person's wrist or neck and feel for a strong and steady beat. Place your ear on the person's chest and check the heartbeat. If you cannot find a pulse or the person is not breathing, it is necessary to begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) immediately.

If you can't find a pulse, start CPR immediately

It is important to start CPR immediately when the person is not breathing or is only gasping. CPR uses rescue breathing and chest compressions to pump oxygen and blood to the heart and brain.
