'I am coming to Delhi, stop me if you can', Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek's challenge to ED

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee has threatened ED. Banerjee, who is being summoned in connection with the school recruitment scam, said that she will join the protest organized by the party in New Delhi on October 3. On the same day, ED has asked him to appear in the Kolkata office.

Trinamool Congress leader and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee is in the midst of controversies. The Enforcement Directorate has summoned him in connection with the school recruitment scam. Banerjee has also been ordered to appear on October 3 for questioning in this matter. But, just a day after being summoned by the ED, he has said that he will join the protest organized by the party in New Delhi on October 3.

The Enforcement Directorate has ordered him to appear in its office in Kolkata. The Trinamool Congress leader, without naming anyone, challenged the Enforcement Directorate and said that if they can stop them, then they should show it. Banerjee has given this information by sharing a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Will go to Delhi to join the protest – Banerjee

He wrote in his post that his fight will continue to deprive West Bengal of its rights. No power in the world can take away them and the people of West Bengal from their fundamental rights. He further wrote, “I will go to Delhi to join the protest on October 2 and 3. If you can stop me, then stop me.

There has also been a reaction from the party on the Trinamool Congress rally to be organized in New Delhi. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has used this trick to disrupt the scheduled rally. Let us tell you that Banerjee, along with other MPs and MLAs of the party, will pay tribute to Bapu at Rajghat on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2.

Delegation will meet Giriraj Singh

At the same time, on the next day of Gandhi Jayanti, a delegation of Trinamool Party will also meet Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh. It is being told that the party may raise the issue of non-release of the outstanding amount under the Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) program with Giriraj Singh.
