The India-Canada dispute seems to be coming to an end. The increasing tension between the two countries is now affecting the economy. But if this bitterness continues to increase, then Canada will yearn for biscuits, jaggery, sugar and many other food items. Due to bitterness, import of things like sugar and jaggery into Canada will be stopped. Actually, Canada takes handbags and clothes along with food items from India. Due to which the economy of the country also runs. But if Canada does not get food items and their imports stop, then Canada will be in need. Let us know how and why?
These things go from Punjab to Canada
If the bitterness in relations between India and Canada increases, it will create trouble for Canada. In fact, Punjab plays an important role in the goods imported from India to Canada. Most of the food items are exported to Canada from Punjab only. Imports flour, biscuits, juice, jaggery, sugar, gajak and rewari from Canada. In such a situation, if India takes a decision and bans the export of these goods, then Canada will be hungry for food. Because the demand for these food items is very high in Canada. Apart from biscuits and sugar, there is also a huge demand in Canada for winter clothes, hand tools and gardening tools, which come from Punjab only.
Dholak and tabla also have an important role
Due to the large number of Punjabis in Canada, many Punjabi stores have also opened here. In which there is a continuous increase in sales every year. In such a situation, if bitterness continues to increase and trade stops, Canada's economy may suffer a setback. Among food items, flour, biscuits, frozen food, juice, jaggery, sugar, bakery, gajak, rewari are sent from Punjab to Canada. Apart from this, the Punjabi population here also imports traditional items from Punjab like pitchers, matkas, dholki, tabla, manje, harmonium, mude.
Most of these goods are imported into Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg and Montreal. According to a report, the demand for traditional food items has increased significantly in Canada in the last ten years and is continuously increasing.
