If Vikram and Pragyan are not able to wake up, will Mission Chandrayaan end?

Today, Indian space agency ISRO will try to revive the lander and rover of Chandrayaan-3 mission. India has already achieved historic success by reaching the South Pole. Now if ISRO succeeds in contacting the lander-rover after sunset of 14 days, then it will be a double success for India.

The whole country is excited with the hopes of Chandrayaan-3 mission being activated again. This mission achieved such success that it added to the glory of India. The whole world recognized ISRO's might. Indian scientists did something in which no success has been achieved till date. There are even bigger expectations regarding the mission. This 14-day mission did its work accurately and now it is expected to return to its work again. Meanwhile, the biggest question is that if the lander-rover is not contacted, will the mission end?

Today, after two weeks of sunset, sunrise is going to happen again at Shiv Shakti Point, and with it there is hope that the Indian Mission will once again make the impossible possible. Usually, the temperature at the south pole of the moon falls many times more than normal. In such a situation, the entire area gets covered in sheets of snow. It is impossible for any machine to survive in minus 150 degree Celsius temperature.

Vikram Lander's receiver is working

If Bheed Pragyan and Vikram return to their work again after solving this impossible situation, then it will be a double success for India. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will try to establish contact with Lander-Rover today. The space agency said that communication will be attempted today on September 22. Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander was put into slip mode at 8 am on September 4. Its payloads were deactivated. Its receivers were still working. Vikram's payloads ChaSTE, RAMBHA-LP and ILSA conducted many scientific experiments, which can guide lunar missions for the world.

Pragyan Rover's receiver also active, hope to wake up

Pragyan Rover was put in rest mode by space agency ISRO on September 2. The agency had said that its battery is fully charged and its receiver is kept on, and its solar panels have the ability to be activated when sunlight falls, but this is just hope. The space agency has not yet given any update on this. ISRO said in its statement on September 4, “Once the solar power is exhausted and the battery is exhausted, Vikram will sleep next to Pragyan, he is expected to wake up around September 22.”

What if there is no contact?

Chandrayaan-3 missions were planned for 14 days, which is equal to one day on the Moon compared to Earth. After the success of the mission, ISRO Chief S Somnath had expressed hope that the rover-lander could become active again after 14 days. ISRO had already made it clear that the mission is planned for 14 days. Now if ISRO is successful in establishing contact again then it will be a big success for the scientists, but if contact is not possible then Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover will remain stuck at Shiv Shakti Point as always and will continue to make India proud. .
