Three-four days ago a news went viral, in which Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat appealed to the common people to write and say Bharat instead of India. On Tuesday, The President of India was found mentioned in the invitation card for the dinner printed by the President of India for the G-20 guests. As soon as this invitation letter came out, political parties got an opportunity. BJP leaders also gave everyone a chance to play by using hashtag Bharat. This uproar, which started in the afternoon, had taken the form of a storm on Twitter by the evening.
Now the big question is that how technically difficult is it to change the name of the country and if this happens how many changes will have to be made.
How will the name change, first understand this
The simple and straightforward answer in the context of India is that if the Central Government has a clear majority in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, then this task is not at all difficult. The Central Government has to approve the bill proposal from the Cabinet and present it in the Lok Sabha. After passing from there, the bill will go to Rajya Sabha. After passing from there, it will go to the President. Whatever proposal is there after his signature, it will be approved. Right now India that is Bharat is mentioned in the constitution of the country. If the central government really wants to go with the name India then it has to remove the word India That Is from the Constitution. For this, after the approval of Cabinet, approval of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and signature of the President, the word India will disappear from the Constitution of the country and the name of the country will become Bharat.
This is the only process that has to happen. Supreme Court lawyer Ashwini Dubey says that if the government really wants to name the country only as India and a bill is brought for it, then there will be no major difficulty in it. This work will be done easily. The many changes that will take place after this decision will cost the Center money and will also take time. This cannot be denied.
This noise is being fueled by the name of the opposition alliance named India, it is strengthened by the RSS chief's advocacy of calling it India and now the final wind has been received from the invitation letter printed under the name of The President of India. The truth will be known only between 18th and 22nd September.
Many parties, including Leader of the Opposition Jairam Ramesh, are feeling that ever since the name of the alliance of opposition parties has been decided, the ruling BJP is restless. He is feeling that the India alliance will defeat the BJP in the year 2024 elections. That's why out of fear BJP now wants to name the country only Bharat.
If INDIA becomes India then technical changes will have to be made
Well, now we know what changes will have to be made immediately if the name of the country remains only India.
1. Maximum time and money is going to be spent in re-naming, because wherever India is being written now, Bharat will have to be done there.
2. Bharat will have to be written instead of India in all the constitutional institutions of the country.
3. The Prime Minister of India will be The Prime Minister of India.
4. Chief Justice of India will also be called Chief Justice of India.
5. There will be a need to make this change with immediate effect from Gazette to everywhere.
6. The biggest change will have to be done in currency notes. India is now written on every note.
7. India will have to be replaced by India in embassies spread across the world.
8. Currently, in the internet world, India is identified with .in. Changes will have to be made in this.
9. Gov.in appears in most of the government websites. Changes will have to be made in this.
However, it is in the hands of the Central Government to decide the time line for every necessary change. Changes will be implemented accordingly. It is more difficult to change the name of the state here than changing the name of the country. Approval of the State Legislative Assembly, if there is a Legislative Council, then its approval, then NOC from various departments including railways, post office, and then the approval of the Central Cabinet, and then by bringing a bill in both the Houses of Parliament to change the name of the state. Is the process of.
