ISRO will again show its strength to the world with Gaganyaan, Indian astronauts will return after such a space trip

ISRO is once again going to make India proud, after Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya L-1, ISRO is going to launch Gaganyaan mission, this is India's first space manned mission. The special thing is that with this mission, India will become the fourth country in the world to send astronauts to space on its own.

After Chandrayaan-3's soft landing on the moon and Aditya L1's departure from Earth, ISRO's focus now is Gaganyaan, the ambitious mission that will send an Indian astronaut to space for the first time. The full proof final plan of the mission has been prepared and its final testing will be done in October, in which the module for safe return of astronauts will be checked. In this, it will be decided where the capsule bringing astronauts from space will fall into the sea and how they will be rescued.

With the success of Gaganyaan mission, India will become the fourth country in the world to send astronauts to space. Till now, only America, Russia and China have been able to achieve this feat on their own, astronauts from other countries have reached there on the strength of space agencies of these countries. ISRO will work on the launch date of the mission after the final tests in October. At present no date has been fixed, but it is believed that Indian astronauts can go to the sky in the beginning of 2024.

How many days will the mission last?

Indian Space Research Organization (ASRO) will conduct the final tests of the mission early next month. For this, ISRO has developed a space capsule in which a three-member crew can live. This team of astronauts will be sent to LEO orbit located 400 kilometers from the Earth for three days. They will remain in space for three days. After this this capsule will be brought back.

Astronauts will go by HLVM rocket

Indian astronauts will be sent to space on HLVM 3 rocket. For this, ISRO is modifying its heavy rocket LVM-3, so that it can safely carry the capsule carrying the rocket crew to space. A Rajarajan, director of Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sri Harikota, had told in an interview that the H in this rocket means human rated.

This is how the return from space will happen

The crew capsule will be mounted on the HLVM rocket. It will take the crew capsule to Earth's orbit. After this, the astronauts will revolve around the Earth's orbit for three days. After this they will be brought back to earth. The main focus of the tests ISRO is conducting for the Gaganyaan mission is on the safe return of astronauts. Actually, after returning towards the earth, the crew capsule will separate from the rocket. After this, the responsibility of bringing it will be played by the L-40 engines fitted in it. The capsule will also be equipped with parachutes, which will open automatically before reaching a distance of a few kilometers from the earth. According to the way ISRO has planned the mission, this capsule will fall in the Indian Ocean. Many teams of the Indian Navy will already be ready here. The Navy's job will be to rescue the astronauts as soon as the capsule falls into the sea.

What will happen if the rocket fails?

ISRO's focus is more on the safety of astronauts than the Gaganyaan mission, ISRO scientists are paying attention to every aspect that can happen in space, work is also being done on the possibility of what would happen if the rocket fails. This should be done so that our astronauts can return to Earth safely. For this, work is being done on five different types of threats. Especially the crew capsule is being designed in such a way that in case of no help, it can control itself and bring it back to the ground safely.

Four astronauts are being given training

Three astronauts are to be sent to space in ISRO's Gaganyaan mission, but for this, four astronauts are being prepared by ISRO, their number can be increased further in future, because some astronauts from India will also be sent to the International Space Station. Those who are to be sent are going to be trained by NASA itself, this team will go to America right after the Gaganyaan mission.
