Madhya Pradesh: Now the real challenge in front of BJP, tension of cutting and changing tickets of minister and MLA.

Politics has heated up in the election state Madhya Pradesh. The ruling party has declared its candidates on 79 seats in the state while announcement is yet to be made on 151 seats. Most of the seats for which candidates are yet to be announced are held by BJP. In such a situation, it is not considered easy for BJP to declare candidates on these seats.

BJP's reputation is at stake in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, due to which the party is leaving no stone unturned. Even before the announcement of assembly elections, BJP may have taken the lead by fielding 79 candidates, but the real test is to come now. BJP has so far announced the names of candidates on those weak seats, but now it is the turn of the strong seats. In such a situation, BJP has to decide on candidates for the seats of existing ministers and MLAs, due to which it will not be easy to declare the fourth and fifth lists of the party?

BJP has so far announced the names of candidates for 79 seats out of total 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh. In this regard, candidates are yet to be announced on 151 seats. BJP has divided the assembly seats into four categories: A, B, C and D. Among these, A category seats have been the stronghold of BJP. BJP has kept those seats in B category, where the party has been winning, but lost in the last elections. There is special attention on C and D category seats. BJP is now continuously working to win these category seats.

BJP's focus is on the 103 seats it lost in the last elections. These seats are of C and D category. Out of the 79 seats on which BJP has fielded candidates so far, 76 seats are not occupied by BJP and three seats are occupied by its MLAs. In this way, after declaration of tickets for 79 seats out of 103 seats of C-D category, 24 seats are left in this category. Apart from this, the names of candidates also have to be declared for those 127 seats from where BJP MLAs and ministers are in power.

BJP CEC meeting on October 1

BJP has called a meeting of the Central Election Committee on October 1 to select the candidates for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. In this meeting, first candidates are to be selected for those 24 seats where there are MLAs from the opposition party. Along with this, the names of candidates are to be brainstormed on 127 A and B category seats. It is believed that this time BJP may also cut the tickets of many of its current MLAs and ministers.

Minister Yashodhara has refused to contest elections

MP government minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia has written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and the BJP leadership, refusing to contest the elections. He has cited his health reasons behind this. Yashodhara Raje is MLA from Shivpuri. If sources are to be believed, BJP wanted to field him from another seat instead of Shivpuri, on which they did not agree. In such a situation, his refusal to contest elections is now being linked to that. This time, BJP can cut the tickets of all those MLAs and ministers, whose poor condition has been mentioned in the survey report.

Tickets of five ministers were canceled in 2018

BJP had canceled tickets for five ministers in 2018 whereas in 2013, four ministers did not get tickets. Last time, BJP did not field ministers like Maya Singh, Harsh Singh, Suryaprakash Meena, Laxmikant Sharma and Gaurishankar Shejwar. In such a situation, it is believed that this time also BJP can cut the tickets of half a dozen of its ministers on the basis of survey and feedback and there is a strategy to field new faces in their place. Similarly, BJP can also cancel the tickets of all those MLAs whose chances of victory are less this time.
