Mahavijay of women… Women's Reservation Bill passed in Lok Sabha, now one step away from creating history.

Discussing the bill, Home Minister Amit Shah said that for some parties it may be an issue of winning the elections but for Prime Minister Narendra Modi it is not a political issue but a question of recognition. He said that after the Women's Reservation Bill is passed in the Rajya Sabha, one-third of the seats will be reserved for matriarchs.

After a long discussion in the Lok Sabha, the Women's Reservation Bill has been passed by the Lok Sabha. Voting was done through slips on the Women's Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha. 454 votes were cast in favor of the Women's Reservation Bill while 2 votes were cast against the Women's Reservation Bill. Let us tell you that the Women's Reservation Bill has been passed with two-thirds majority in the Lok Sabha.

Discussing the bill, Home Minister Amit Shah said that for some parties it may be an issue of winning elections, but for Prime Minister Narendra Modi it is not a political issue but a question of recognition. He said that after the Women's Reservation Bill is passed, one-third of the seats will be reserved for matriarchs. He said that with the introduction of this bill, the daughters of the country will not only get their share in the policies but will also be able to secure their position in policy making.

While discussing the Women's Reservation Bill, Home Minister Amit Shah said that the number of women pilots worldwide is around 5 percent but in India it is 15 percent. I am proud to say that the number of women pilots has increased in the last 10 years. She said that when we brought this bill, many women MPs said that half of the population should not be humiliated by giving women reservation because the women here are as strong as the men here. He said that with the introduction of this bill, the daughters of the country will not only get their share in the policies but will also be able to secure their position in policy making. He said that anyone who is born in this country will never make the mistake of considering the women here as weak.

Amit Shah's counterattack on Rahul's OBC question

During the discussion, Amit Shah retorted to Rahul Gandhi's question and said that the Congress leader was saying that among the people who run the country, only three are OBCs. This shows their understanding. They think that the country is run by the secretaries whereas in my understanding the country is run by the government. He said that if the Congress leader wants figures then I should tell him that 29 percent i.e. 85 MPs in the BJP government are from OBC category. He told that out of 1358 OBC MLAs of BJP, there are 365 i.e. 27 percent. There are 65 out of 163 Obis MLCs in BJP, which is 40 percent.

There should be a provision for reservation for OBC in the bill: Rahul

Earlier, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, I stand in support of this bill but this bill still appears incomplete. There should be a provision for reservation for OBCs in this bill which seems to be missing from the bill. He said, instead of the provision of delimitation and completion of census, it should be implemented immediately. This is a good building but the woman President of the country should also have been present in its program. Whenever the opposition talks about caste census, diverting issues are brought up.
