Market broke 16 year record, investors earned Rs 14 lakh crore in 11 days

There has been a rise in the stock market for 11 consecutive trading days. This is the first time since 2007 that the stock market has closed with gains on 11 trading days. In the month of September, investors have made a profit of Rs 14 lakh crore.

The stock market closed with gains for the 11th consecutive day on Friday. For the first time after 16 years, it has been seen that the stock market has seen continuous growth for 11 trading days. The special thing is that during this period investors have earned about Rs 14 lakh crore. Also, Sensex has seen a rise of more than four and a half percent. An increase of about 5 percent has been seen in the National Stock Exchange. If we talk about today, Sensex and Nifty closed at records. Both the exchanges also created a new record of life time high. Where Sensex saw a rise of more than 319 points. Whereas Nifty closed with a gain of 89 points. Let's take a look at the market data.

Record made after 16 years

The stock market closed with gains for the 11th consecutive trading day today. This is a record in itself which has been made after 16 years. Before this, such a long rally was seen after the year 2007. If we look at the data, Sensex increased by 319 points or 0.47 percent and closed at 67,839. However, during the trading session, Sensex reached a new record high of 67927.23. However, in the month of September, Sensex has seen an increase of 4.62 percent. On the other hand, the main index of National Stock Exchange Nifty increased by 89 points or 0.44 percent and closed at 20,192. However, during the trading session, Nifty had also reached a record high of 20,222.45 points. Till the close of trading, Nifty has seen a rise of 4.85 percent in the month of September.

There was a rise in these shares

In the Sensex pack, M&M, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra and HCL Tech closed with gains, while HUL, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finserv, NTPC, ITC and L&T closed with losses. Shares of Strides Pharma closed over 5 per cent higher after Singapore-based step-down subsidiary Strides Pharma Global Pte Ltd got provisional approval from the USFDA for dolutegravir 50 mg tablets. Talking about auto shares, Bajaj Auto also closed with a gain of more than 6 percent.

Sectoral index also increased

Talking about sectoral index, Nifty Auto increased by 1.58 percent. 0.94 percent was seen in Nifty IT. Nifty Financial Services and Nifty Bank also closed with gains. Nifty Midcap100 saw a rise of 0.28% and Smallcap100 saw a rise of 0.41%. Today about 1,935 shares rose, 1,697 shares declined and there was no change in 154 shares.

Investors gained Rs 14 lakh crore in September

The month of September has proved to be very good for market investors. In 15 days or rather 11 trading days, investors have made a profit of Rs 14 lakh crore. When the market closed on August 31, the market cap of BSE was Rs 309.6 lakh crore, which has currently increased to Rs 323.4 lakh crore. If we talk about today only, investors have got a profit of Rs 1.25 lakh crore.
