More than 1 million followers joined PM Modi's WhatsApp channel in a single day

 


Within a day of joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi's WhatsApp channel, he got more than 1 million followers. Prime Minister Modi was connected to this channel on Tuesday i.e. 19th September. PM Modi also shared the link to join this channel and wrote – Today I have started my WhatsApp channel. Looking forward to staying connected through this medium. This is another important step in our journey of continued dialogue.

In his first post on WhatsApp channels, Prime Minister Modi also shared a photo taken inside the Parliament House. This shows that the PMO is not only eager but also dedicated to maintaining relationships with a large group of audiences through such messaging platforms.
