According to Dr. Ushakiran Sisodia, especially those people who often suffer from constipation, they should eat watermelon after 3-4 pm because it helps in keeping the body hydrated. This is the reason why eating it after lunch is very beneficial. You can also eat chapatti flour by adding sesame seeds to it. You can also eat roasted sesame seeds. 

Triphala

The combination of three important Ayurvedic herbs – Amalaki (Amla), Bibhitaki (Bahera), and Haritaki (Chenulik myrobalan) is a mixture known as Triphala. “Triphala improves bowel movements, cleanses the digestive system and removes toxic substances from the body. For better results you can take one spoon of Triphala powder with warm water just before sleeping.

Castor oil

Castor oil is rich in natural fatty acids that lubricate the intestines, making bowel movements easier. You can take castor oil mixed with a cup of hot milk in the morning. When adding castor oil to your diet, it is better to speak to an Ayurvedic treatment expert for more personalized guidance.

Flax seeds
