A lift of a building under construction collapsed on Friday in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The number of deaths in this accident is increasing. Today 4 more people died. Besides, National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) will also give Rs 20 lakh to the next of kin of every laborer who lost his life in the accident.
This accident happened in Amrapali Dream Villa Housing Society located in Bisrakh, Greater Noida. Here the workers were going up in the lift of the building under construction, when the lift suddenly fell down. Due to this, four laborers traveling in the lift died on the spot, while other injured laborers were taken to the hospital for treatment, where today four laborers died.
Anger among the relatives of the deceased
After the death of the workers, the family members who reached the hospital are in bad condition, crying. At the same time, there was a lot of anger among the family members regarding this accident and also the complaint that at the time when the injured were being treated in the hospital, the family members were not even allowed to meet the injured.
Father broke down after son's death
Kuldeep's father, who was declared dead during treatment on Saturday morning, says that his son was only 20 years old. He was not even married. The father is heartbroken after Kuldeep's death. After this accident, the Police Commissioner, DM and CEO of Greater Noida Authority have also inspected the incident site. At the same time, the police has registered a case against 9 people.
Police registered a case
According to the police, a case has been registered against 4 GMs of Girdhari Lal Construction. At the same time, a case has also been registered against lift company Spantech. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 304,308,337,338,287,34 of IPC. Police officer Shakti Awasthi says that soon the people who are negligent will be arrested
