On September 9, the makers made the official announcement of Welcome to the Jungle by sharing a teaser video. Many other stars including Akshay Kumar were seen in the video. But Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar were not seen. Both these actors are not going to be a part of Welcome 3. This news has remained a topic of discussion for a long time. Apart from these two, Anees Bazmee is also not a part of this film.
Both parts of Welcome were directed by Anees Bazmee. However, he is not included in the third part. Recently in an interview he was asked about the development of Welcome 3. To which he said that he is not a part of this film. He also said that if the makers have taken some decision then it must have been taken after careful consideration.
What did you say about Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor?
Anees Bazmee further said that if he had been directing the film, it would not have been possible for him to make the film without Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor. He said that the characters of both of them are iconic and important. He cannot imagine the film without both of them.
Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi have entered Welcome 3. On this, Anees Bazmee said that it would be interesting to see both of them in the film. Regarding not directing this film, Anees Bazmee said that the rights of the film are with the producer. If he has given the responsibility to someone else then there must be some reason behind it.
Nana Patekar also had a reaction?
Before Anees Bazmee, Nana Patekar had also reacted. At the trailer launch event of Vaccine War, he was asked a question about Welcome 3, to which he said that the makers might have felt that I had become old, perhaps that is why they did not take it. Let us tell you, Vaccine War, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, is being released on September 28, in which Nana Patekar is playing an important role.
