Rohit Sharma told his wish, said- want to break this big record of Gayle

Indian captain Rohit Sharma says that he wants to break the record of most sixes hit by Universe Boss Chris Gayle. Till now, Rohit Sharma has hit 539 sixes across all cricket formats. If Rohit has to achieve the top position by surpassing left-handed veteran batsman Chris Gayle (554), then he will now have to hit only 14 sixes.

Rohit said, "I want to break Chris Gayle's record of hitting sixes. I never thought in my life that I will break Chris Gayle's record. It is fun. I am not a strong man but I like to hit the ball hard. When I started playing cricket, I was told that timing is important. We were told that you can play aerial shots. However, for this you need to have a steady head. Apart from this, you can use your body as much as possible. Play the ball near the field. If we played aerial shots, the coach would throw us out of the game."

On the other hand, if we talk about the Indian team, then on September 10, they will face Pakistan in the Super 4 match of Asia Cup 2023. Even before this, both the teams had clashed with each other in this tournament, then the match was canceled due to rain. The Super 4 match will also be played at Pallekele, Colombo and this match is also under the shadow of rain. It will be interesting to see if rain will play a role.

The news is coming that a reserve day has been kept for the Super 4 match of Asia Cup 2023. Apart from the final, this is the only match for which a reserve day has been kept. However, no official announcement has been made by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) regarding this. Earlier only September 17 was kept as reserve day for the final.

The weather forecast in Colombo in the coming week is very bad and there is a possibility of heavy rain. There is a 90 percent chance of rain on the day of the great match between India and Pakistan on Sunday. There is also an 85 percent chance of rain in the Super 4 match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on Saturday.
