After this, offer water in the circular part of Jalhari which is considered to be the place of Mother Parvati. Last but not least, offer water slowly to the Shivalinga.
According to Hindu belief, one should never offer water to Shivalinga while standing. It is considered auspicious to always sit on Shivling and offer water slowly. Never offer sharp water to Lord Shiva.
