Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh and his wife Jyoti Singh appeared in Ara Family Court of Bihar. Pawan Singh has filed an application for divorce from wife Jyoti Singh in the court on 30 October 2021. A hearing was held in this matter on Wednesday but no solution was found. Despite court efforts between the two, there does not seem to be any possibility of reconciliation. Even after the hearing that lasted for about two and a half hours on Wednesday, no consensus was reached on anything. Whereas the court was trying to make both of them talk and make peace with each other.
Earlier, Pawan Singh and his wife Jyoti Singh had appeared before the court on 28 April and 26 May. Then the court had fixed September 27 for the next hearing. When Pawan Singh reached the court on Wednesday, a huge crowd had gathered to see him. While his wife Jyoti Singh reached the court with her family and lawyer.
Affair with Akshara, second marriage with Jyoti
This is Pawan Singh's second marriage with Jyoti Singh. Pawan Singh first married Neelam Singh. Neelam Singh committed suicide in 2015, after which Pawan Singh's name was linked with Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh but in 2018, Pawan Singh married Jyoti Singh. Jyoti Singh is a resident of Ballia, UP. Now Pawan Singh's second marriage is also on the verge of breaking. Jyoti has accused Pawan Singh of assaulting her twice and pressuring her to get an abortion.
Things did not work out even after counseling for one and a half hour
On Wednesday, Pawan Singh and his wife Jyoti were counseled for about one and a half hours in front of Family Court Judge Sweta Singh for a mutual settlement, but Pawan Singh remained adamant on divorce. In the court, Pawan Singh asked Jyoti Singh to pay her house and children's living and education expenses. Bhojpuri actor's lawyer Sudama Singh said that Pawan Singh has filed for divorce and he does not want to live with his wife. He is ready to pay compensation but has refused to give a one-time settlement.
Demand for five crore more houses
Whereas Jyoti Singh's lawyer Vishnudhar Pandey says that Jyoti Singh has asked for Rs 5 crore and a house as compensation so that she can study and live her life. But Pawan Singh is ready to pay only a house and education expenses. Which Jyoti Singh's father has rejected. She said that if Pawan Singh does not do this, she will continue to fight the case in future also.
