G20 Summit Delhi: Due to the G20 meeting, Delhi Police has announced that many metro stations of Delhi will remain closed. According to the advisory, there will be a change in the routes of the metro from the night of 7 September to the evening of 11 September.
Preparations for the G20 meeting to be held in Delhi this week are in the last stage. Many big leaders and diplomats from India and abroad are coming to attend the meeting. In such a situation, Delhi Police and the government have imposed many restrictions to ensure that there is no lapse in their security. In this series, Delhi Police has now issued an advisory for Delhi Metro during G20. According to the advisory, 39 metro stations will remain completely closed from 8 to 10 September. At the same time, Delhi Police has suggested for passengers going from the airport to travel by metro from 7 to 11 September.

According to the new advisory of Delhi Police, from September 8 to 10, Moti Bagh, Bikaji Cama Place, Munirka, RK Puram, Supreme Court, IIT Delhi and Sadar Bazar Cantonment metro stations will remain completely closed.
Apart from this, Dhaula Kuan, Khan Market, Janpath, Supreme Court and Bhikaji Cama Place metro stations have been selected as sensitive metro routes.

Operation of these metro stations changed
During G20, some stations of Delhi Metro will run normally while some gates will be kept closed for security reasons. At IGI Airport, passengers will be able to enter and exit only from gate number one. At the same time, Khan Market Metro Station Gate Number 1, 2 and 3 will remain closed. Passengers will be able to come and go only through gate number four. Only gate number one at Kailash Colony metro station will be open for the convenience of passengers. Gate number 1, 2, 3 and 4 will remain completely closed at Lajpat Nagar Metro station, while gate number five will remain open for passengers.
Gate numbers one and three of Jangpura metro station will remain closed and gate number two will remain open. Gate numbers 1 and 3 of Ashram Metro station will remain closed while gate number two will remain open. Gate numbers 1, 3 and 4 at Janpath Metro station will remain closed. Here passengers can enter and exit from gate number two. Barahkhambha Road Metro Station Gate No. 1,3,4,5 and 6 will remain closed. Only gate number two will be open for entry-exit. Gate number one of Indraprastha Metro station has been kept open while gate number two will remain closed.
