US President will come to India to participate in G-20 summit, Biden will hold bilateral talks with PM Modi


US President Joe Biden has been confirmed to participate in the G-20 summit. 
According to the White House, he will visit India on Thursday i.e. 7 September. Biden will also hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the G20 summit. India, the current chair of the G-20 group, will host world leaders at the summit to be held on September 9 and 10 in New Delhi. The White House said in a statement released Friday night that President Biden is on his way to New Delhi to attend the G20 Summit in India.

The White House statement said that during the summit, Biden would commend Prime Minister Modi for his excellent leadership of the G20 group. According to the statement, Biden will hold a bilateral meeting with Modi on the sidelines of the G20 summit on Friday. It has been told that on the coming Saturday (September 9) and Sunday (September 10), the President will participate in the G20 summit, in which the leaders of the member countries will raise the adoption of clean energy and other important global issues including tackling climate change. The White House said the leaders of G20 countries will also assess the economic and social effects of Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine. It said G20 leaders will also discuss ways to enhance the capacity of multilateral development banks, including the World Bank, to address global challenges and better fight poverty. According to the statement, “During his visit to New Delhi, President Biden will also commend Prime Minister Modi's leadership of the G20 group. He will reaffirm the US commitment to the G20 as the premier forum for economic cooperation, including hosting the group in 2026. The G20 is an intergovernmental forum of the world's major developed and developing economies.

G-20 countries represent 85 percent GDP

 G-20 member countries represent about 85 percent of global gross domestic product (GDP), about 75 percent of global trade and about two-thirds of the global population. According to the White House, Biden will visit Vietnam's capital Hanoi on September 10. “In Hanoi, Biden will meet with President Nguyen Phu Trần and other key leaders to discuss ways to deepen cooperation between the US and Vietnam,” it said. According to the White House, "the leaders will promote the development of a technology-focused and innovation-based Vietnamese economy, expand people-to-people ties through education exchanges and workforce development programs, combat climate change, and promote peace, prosperity and We will also brainstorm on opportunities to bring stability. (Language)
