Lok Sabha elections are going to be held next year in 2024. Earlier, on his birthday, Prime Minister Modi has decided to provide huge employment to the large population of the country, especially the workers, and change their destiny. Actually, in India Lord Vishwakarma is considered the god of creation and construction. Lord Vishwakarma is worshiped for all the skills including architecture, tools, craftsmanship and sculpture. On the occasion of Prime Minister Modi's birthday and Vishwakarma Puja on 17 September, the Prime Minister is going to launch a special scheme for workers, Vishwakarma Yojana. Let us understand who will benefit from this and what will be the benefit.
Actually there is no dearth of hand skills in India. Artisans and craftsmen are counted in crores. These are the people who work with their hands or using hand tools, that is, machines are not used in any way. These are very important for the economy but they are the part of the Indian economy which is unorganized. Many times this skill is transferred from generation to generation. This includes goldsmiths, potters, carpenters and sculptors. In the beginning, the professions or skills which are being included in the Prime Minister's Vishwakarma Scheme are...
They will benefit from PM Vishwakarma Scheme
sculptors, stone carvers
boat builder
Astrakar or weapons maker
locksmith
hammer and toolkit makers
traditional toys and dolls maker
mat basket broom maker
garland makers
fishing net makers
Goldsmith
potter
cobbler shoemaker
Blacksmith
carpenter
mason mason
barber hair cutter
Washerman
Tailor
Benefits of PM Vishwakarma Yojana
First of all, you will have to do registration and verification for this, after which the beneficiaries will be given PM Vishwakarma certificate and identity card i.e. certificate and ID card.
After getting the I-card, the beneficiaries will be given a support amount of Rs 15,000 for the toolkit so that they can collect the necessary tools and facilities to start the work.
The beneficiaries of the scheme will get a daily stipend of Rs 500 and will also be given basic skill training.
After skill training, you can also get a loan up to Rs 1 lakh without guarantee.
After skill training, there may also be an opportunity for advanced skill training.
Incentive amount will be available for digital transactions
The biggest thing is that when the government does so much, it will also provide many platforms for branding and endorsements.
The plan is a game changer
PM Vishwakarma Yojana was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself on 15 August 2023 from the ramparts of the Red Fort. The central government is aiming to spend Rs 13 thousand crore in this scheme in the next 5 years. It is worth noting that there are elections in 2024, hence no one connects any scheme with the salvation of the pure society. From the point of view of politics also, this scheme is being considered a big game changer. Political experts say that BJP is going to directly benefit from this scheme. Because after this scheme, a large section of voters of the society will be seen with BJP, which will obviously become a matter of concern for the opposition.
