According to Britain's government National Health Service (NHS), England is the first country in the world to make injections for the treatment of cancer. After approval from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the NHS told that the name of this injection is Atezolizumab. According to medical reports, Atezolizumab is manufactured by Roche (ROG.S) company. It is an immunotherapy medicine which helps the immune system to detect and destroy cancer cells. Let us tell you that till now it used to take a long time for the medicine to reach the nerves of the patients in the treatment of cancer. Now with the introduction of new method of treatment, the injection can be easily delivered to the body by giving it under the skin instead of the veins.

According to a study by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), lung cancer cases in India may increase by 7 times by 2025 as compared to the last 10 years. Where is free cancer treatment in Delhi

Patients get free treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Center in Rohini Sector-5, Delhi. In a reply given in the Delhi High Court, the hospital said that from March 1, 2023, 25 per cent patients in OPD and 10 per cent patients in IPD have received free treatment. However, free treatment facility in the hospital is available only to the patients belonging to the weaker sections. Of the 500 beds available for cancer patients in the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, 50 are for EWS category patients. There are 5 critical and 45 normal beds in these.
