P20 Summit: After the successful organization of G-20 Summit, India is organizing the P20 Summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this conference on October 13. This two-day meeting will be organized at the India International Convention and Expo Center 'Yashobhoomi' in Dwarka. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on Friday reviewed the situation and preparations in and around 'Yashobhoomi'. Let us tell you that this is the ninth summit of P-20. Now only six days are left in this.
The main theme of the P20 conference has been kept as 'Parliament for One Earth, One Family, One Future'. Apart from G-20 countries, 10 other countries and international organizations will participate in this conference. The President of the African Parliament will also participate in this P-20 program being held in India for the first time. According to the information given by the Lok Sabha Speaker, till now about 50 Members of Parliament and 14 General Secretaries including 26 Speakers, 10 Deputy Speakers, 01 Committee Chairman and IPU Chairman have confirmed their participation in this conference.
Speaker of Canadian Parliament will also be included
The biggest and special thing is that the Speaker of the Parliament of Canada will also participate in this conference. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that through this conference, India aims to provide consensus-based solutions to complex global issues towards a more inclusive, peaceful and equitable world. Om Birla said that four high-level sessions will be organized during the P-20 summit.
