After G20, India is now busy organizing P20, the world will see the country's new parliament

India is now going to organize Parliament-20. India was praised all over the world for the unanimous declaration issued in the G20 conference. A manifesto will also be issued regarding all the subjects included in the P20 conference. This joint statement will show a roadmap to face global challenges through democratic means.

After the great success of G20, now preparations are being made for P20 i.e. Parliament-20 in Delhi. In this conference to be held from 12-14 October, Speakers of Parliament of all the countries participating in the G20 Summit and the delegations of MPs accompanying them will participate. This program will be held in the new Parliament building of the country. Through the P-20 conference, the whole world will also come face to face with the new temple of democracy of India. With the goals of One Earth, One Family and One Future, India is going to present its centuries-old democratic history to the world during the P20 conference.

The main event of the P20 summit is 13-14 October but the conference will start from 12 October. On the first day, many events will be held on the theme of Parliamentary Forum on Life. These programs are being finalized under the leadership of Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. A total of four sessions have been organized in the conference. The first session is titled “Agenda 2030 for SDGs: Showcasing Achievements, Accelerating Progress”. It is based on the Sustainable Development Goals by the United Nations by the year 2030.

There will be talk on dealing with the challenges of climate change

In this, there will be a review of the policies made and their implementation to face the challenges of poverty and backwardness at the global level after the Corona epidemic. In this session, India is going to present its various public welfare schemes as a role model to all the countries. The second session is on “Sustainable Energy Transition: Gateways to a Green Future”. This is about dealing with the challenges of climate change through alternative energy sources. During this session, emphasis will be laid on the developed countries to fulfill their promises under which it was agreed to help the developing countries through budget and technology.

Women's issues also included in the agenda of P20

The third session is titled “Mainstreaming Gender Equality: From Womens Empowerment to Women-Led Development”. The most important thing for this session is that in the beginning of the new Parliament, India has set an example for the world by approving the Women's Reservation Bill. The fourth and final session is on “Transformation in Peoples Lives through Public Digital Platforms”. In the G20 conference, all the member countries had praised India for digital payments and other government schemes based on digital technology. Make these policies in the P20 conference. The role of Parliament in its implementation and monitoring will be discussed in detail.
