This time, Indian athletes have created history by winning 107 medals in the Asian Games. The athletes should not be praised for this victory, but some credit for it goes to Mukesh Ambani, Ratan Tata and Gautam Adani along with many other corporates. It is because of their help that these athletes have been successful in winning medals in the Asian Games.
Apart from Reliance Industries, Adani Group, Tata Group, JSW Group has provided full support to most of the athletes who won medals in the Asian Games. This includes providing international level training to the athletes for preparation. Besides, corporates have also helped them through sponsorship, scholarship and other means. This is the reason why this time India has been at fourth position in the tally of Asian Games.
Reliance got 12 medals
Nita Ambani, wife of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, runs the Reliance Foundation. He says that the athletes whom the foundation helped have been successful in winning 12 medals for the country in the Asian Games. Reliance Foundation is engaged in improving the young talent of the country. It is the principal partner with the Indian Olympic Association and Athletics Federation of India, which provides scholarship and training to more than 200 athletes from more than 10 sports in the country.
JSW Group won 4 golds
The athletes supported by Jindal Steel Works Group won a total of 17 medals in the Asian Games. These include 4 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze medals. The sports arm of JSW Group supports more than 4,000 athletes across the country. Apart from track sports, this includes judo, wrestling, boxing and swimming. JSW Group has started Inspire Institute of Sports for this. JSW Group is the sponsor of athletes like Neeraj Chopra, Avinash Sable and Parul Chaudhary.
Adani-Tata also contributed
Adani Group and Tata Group are also not behind in supporting the athletes who win medals in the Asian Games. Adani Sportsline sponsors Deepak Punia, who won the silver medal in the Asian Games. Adani Group is also the principal sponsor of the Indian team for Paris Olympics 2024. Similarly, Tata Group company Tata Steel runs Tata Archery Academy in the country. Its cadets Ankita Bhakat and Bhajan Kaur have helped in winning bronze medal in the Asian Games.
