BJP's special plan against Gehlot, special discussion on Vasundhara too, PM-Shah brainstorming on tickets for two and a half hours

Before the assembly elections, a meeting of BJP core group was held in Delhi. In this meeting chaired by PM Modi, the main focus has been kept on Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh elections. In this meeting which lasted for about two and a half hours, there was discussion on fielding strong candidates on BJP's lost and weak seats.

Before the upcoming assembly elections, BJP seems to be working rapidly on its action plan. Meanwhile, a meeting of the BJP Central Election Committee was held on Sunday under the chairmanship of BJP President JP Nadda and in the presence of PM Modi. The meeting was also attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and members of the election committee and members of the BJP core group of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. This meeting lasted for two and a half hours.

In this meeting chaired by PM Modi, the names of candidates of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh were discussed separately. First, the names of candidates for more than 65 seats in Rajasthan were discussed. Out of which, fielding strong candidates on BJP's lost and weak seats was discussed. There was also discussion on fielding Union ministers and MPs against senior Congress leaders including Ashok Gehlot.

It is being speculated that the party may field former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore, former BJP President Satish Poonia against strong opposition candidates. Apart from these, the party can also make some MPs candidates in which the names of Sukhbir Singh Jaunpuria and Kirori Lal Meena can be included. To give the message of collective leadership, a Union Minister can also be fielded in Rajasthan elections.

Discussion on names of Chhattisgarh candidates after Rajasthan

BJP had already declared the names of candidates on 21 seats in the first list of Chhattisgarh elections. In Sunday's meeting, the names of candidates for all the remaining 69 seats of Chhattisgarh were discussed. In Chhattisgarh too, BJP will field a Union Minister and some MPs. BJP has announced the name of MP Vijay Baghel in the very first list against Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel. Similarly, the party will also make some other MPs including Vilaspur MP and Chhattisgarh BJP President Arun Sao as candidates in the Assembly so that the message of a strong team from BJP goes to the public and workers.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of ground reality and survey.

Even before giving party ticket in the elections, it has made it clear that the candidates will be selected on the basis of ground reality and survey. Before the Central Election Committee meeting, separate meetings of the core groups of both the states were held at the residence of BJP President JP Nadda in the afternoon. Home Minister Amit Shah was also present in this meeting. Tomorrow PM Modi has a rally in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan and on October 5 in Jodhpur. It is believed that only after that the party will announce the names of the candidates from Rajasthan.
