Both sides are suffering losses in the Israel-Palestine war. Especially a lot of damage is being done in Gaza, where the Israeli army is continuously dropping bombs from fighter jets. Thousands of buildings have been destroyed and there is devastation everywhere. There is no such level of damage in Israel, where Hamas is launching rocket attacks only from Gaza.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas is escalating, with rocket attacks by Hamas and retaliatory airstrikes by Israeli Defense Forces. Due to continuous attacks and retaliation, there have been a large number of deaths and massive losses on both sides. The health system in Gaza has collapsed. Airstrike continues from Israel's side. Hospitals are full of patients. There is a shortage of clean water, food, fuel and medical supplies in Gaza.
Due to the stress, resources including beds, staffing and supplies in hospitals have become limited. Despite the challenging circumstances, people like doctors and medical experts in Gaza are making every effort to save the lives of common people. After the air strike, common people themselves are doing the work of saving lives and carrying out rescue operations. The UN refugee agency working for Palestinians said water has now become "a matter of life and death" for people in the Gaza Strip after Israel cut off water supplies.
Strike on 64 thousand houses, colleges and institutes in Gaza
More than 64 thousand buildings have been damaged in Gaza. More than 5500 buildings have been razed to the ground. 90 colleges-institutions, 18 mosques out of which 11 have been completely destroyed, 19 hospitals are not functioning properly, 20 ambulances have also been damaged and 11 water sanitation facilities are not functioning. More than 2600 people have been killed so far in Gaza and more or less twice as many people have been injured.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Saturday that more than 2 million people are now in danger due to running out of water. The Gaza Strip is running out of clean water because its water plants and public water networks have stopped working. Palestinians are now forced to use dirty water from wells, which poses a risk of disease.
1300 people died in Israel, now ground attack
Israel will destroy Hamas, no matter how long it takes, and end the war with force, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in an address Friday night. He said, “This is just the beginning. Our enemies have just begun to pay the price and I will not say anything more than that. This is just the beginning." So far, more than 3500 people have been injured in Israel and more than 1300 have died. Israel has now planned to launch a ground attack in Gaza.
