This is the first time in the last eight years that the air of the country's capital Delhi has become so clean. Commission for Air Quality Management i.e. CAQM itself has confirmed this. This year, Delhi's air remained clean for 200 consecutive days. It is believed that this winter also Delhi can get relief from air pollution.
With the beginning of the month of October, the threat of pollution starts looming over Delhi. Around Diwali, the situation becomes such that even breathing becomes difficult in Delhi. However, this time preparations are already being made for it. The figures so far are enough to be happy. According to the Commission for Air Quality Management i.e. CAQM, the climate of Delhi is continuously improving, this is the first time since 2015 that the Air Quality Index here has been in the Good to Moderate category.
Situation normal even in October
Generally, the air of Delhi starts deteriorating in October. A blanket of fog begins to cover the sky and the Air Quality Index increases to the danger mark, although this time there is still relief. Commission for Air Quality Management i.e. on October 9, Delhi's AQI was 175 which falls in the moderate category, it is expected that similar relief is expected this time too.

Talking about the air quality index of Delhi in the month of October, last year also the figures were full of relief, on October 9, 2022, the AQI of Delhi was approximately 154, but a year before this this figure had reached 183. Due to Corona in 2020, this year's figures are not included, but before that in 2019 also, Delhi's AQI was 174 on October 9. This figure is considered good to moderate only.
