India recently successfully organized the G20 summit. The biggest achievement for India in this was the agreement on 'India-West Asia-Europe' Economic Corridor. This is being considered the biggest cut of China's 'Belt and Road' Initiative. But clouds of crisis are looming over this biggest project of G20. The reason for this is the latest situation in Israel. There is a situation of war in Israel after the attack on Israel by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas.
The special thing about the India-West Asia-Europe Economic Corridor is that India is going to get the maximum benefit from it. This will directly connect India with the Gulf and western countries. This will work to increase India's exports, while also rejuvenating India's ancient 'Masala Route', thanks to which India was once called the 'Golden Bird'.
This corridor has to pass through these countries
This biggest project of G20 was agreed upon by countries like India, America, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), European Union, Italy, France and Germany. In this economic corridor, India will be connected to the Gulf countries by sea route and from there to Europe by land route. This will make it easier to trade from the western coast of India to the farthest parts of Europe.
There may be a lot of delay in the project
Senior diplomat Kanwal Sibal, former Foreign Secretary and India's Ambassador to Turkey, Egypt, France and Russia, said in an interview that the current situation in Israel could keep the situation in West Asia unstable for the next few months. Due to this, lines of concern have been drawn from New Delhi to Washington. This corridor has to pass through Jordan and Haifa. Both of these are very sensitive zones. In such a situation, there is a possibility of delay in the completion of 'India-West Asia-Europe' Economic Corridor. The reason for this is that the meetings regarding this project were scheduled in the next two months, which are now likely to be delayed. In such a situation, the possibility of delay in the project cannot be ruled out at all.
There are two regions of this economic corridor. In this, India and Gulf countries in the Eastern Region are to be connected by sea route. Whereas the Gulf countries in the Northern Region are going to connect with Europe. This will be a land route which will depend on rail service.
