Yesterday, ED issued summons to five film stars including Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor. Now the news is that ED has raided Qureshi Production House in Mumbai. There is an allegation of money transaction through Qureshi Production House. According to the information, Qureshi Production House belongs to Wasim Qureshi, associated with a national political party.
This matter has been in the news continuously for the last few days. ED had earlier issued summons to Ranbir Kapoor. After that Huma Qureshi, Hina Khan, Kapil Sharma and Shraddha Kapoor were also summoned. Now the information about this raid is coming to light. Earlier last month also, ED had raided different places and seized property worth Rs 417 crore. Now in the same Mahadev Betting App case, ED has raided Qureshi Production House in Mumbai.
ED under investigation for a long time
ED has been investigating the Mahadev betting app case for a long time. The investigation also revealed corruption worth Rs 5,000 crore. Saurabh Chandrakar, who runs a betting app, is accused of giving money to many stars through hawala. Actually, the stars had promoted the app online. Now ED wants to inquire about the payment received in the same case.
Saurabh Chandrakar got married in February 2023. His marriage took place in Dubai. He had invited many stars to perform there. Along with Bollywood, Pakistani singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam also reached there.
And summons may be issued to the stars
Along with the summons to five film stars and the raid on the production house, the source says that the ED may issue summons to many more stars in the future. Many stars including Krishna Abhishek, Pulkit Samrat, Bharti Singh, Sunny Leone are on the radar.
