After the start of the match, Daniel Jarvis, known as Jarvo 69, came on the field dodging everyone. The security personnel took him out of the field and during this, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were also seen convincing him to go out. Jarvo had entered the field wearing Team India's jersey.
Jarvo had entered such a ground several times during India's tour of England in 2021. During that series, Jarvo was forced into the field in three test matches and he was wearing Team India's jersey during that time too. After which England and Wales Cricket Ground banned him for life.

It is noteworthy that in this match, Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bat first. Shubman Gill is not playing for India in this match. Gill is suffering from dengue and Ishan Kishan has got a chance in his place in the playing eleven. Kishan will open the innings with captain Rohit Sharma.
