Jos Buttler selected top-5 players of his World Cup XI, an Indian cricketer also in the list

 

England's limited overs team captain Jos Buttler has selected the top players of his favorite World Cup XI. Butler has also selected one of his teammates and a batsman from India among these players. 

Butler has selected England spinner Adil Rashid as the first player. Rashid has taken 15 wickets in 7 matches this year and he can prove to be important for England in the upcoming World Cup starting in India. The second player in the list is Quinton de Kock. 30 year old De Kock will retire from One Day International after this World Cup. He has scored 343 runs in 10 ODIs this year.

Butler has also selected Team India captain Rohit Sharma. Who created a stir with his batting in the last World Cup. Rohit had scored 648 runs in the 2019 World Cup and stood first among the players who scored the most runs. In 2023, he has scored 658 runs in 16 matches at an average of 50.62.

Australia's star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is also in Buttock's list. Which can prove to be a game changer for Australia in the upcoming tournament. After recovering from injury, Maxwell recently returned to the Australia team in the third and last ODI against India and played an important role in the victory by taking 4 wickets. 

The fifth and last player is Enrique Norkhia of South Africa. Who has been out of the World Cup for the second consecutive time due to injury. Norkhia had taken 8 wickets in 5 ODIs this year.
