Kumar Sangakkara and Simon Doull selected all-time World Cup XI, included only one Indian player

All Time World Cup XI: Former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara and former New Zealand bowler Simon Doull have selected their all-time World Cup XI before the start of the upcoming World Cup 2023. Both these players together selected the team and while declaring their all-time World Cup XI, only one Indian player has been included in the team.

The Indian player whom Kumar Sangakkara and Simon Doull have kept in their team is none other than the great Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, known as the God of Cricket. But the thing to note is that apart from Sachin, no other batsman has been able to make his place in the team of Sangakkara and Doull.

On the other hand, both these greats selected four Australian players (Adam Gilchrist, Ricky Ponting, Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath) in their team. At the same time, he has included two players from West Indies (Viv Richards, Clive Lloyd), two players from Sri Lanka (Aravinda de Silva, Muttiah Muralitharan), and two players from Pakistan (Imran Khan and Wasim).

If we talk about World Cup 2023, then this tournament is going to start from October 5. The first match of the World Cup will be played between the current champion England and the previous World Cup runner-up team New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India will play its first match against Australia on October 8 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
