Laxman Sivaramakrishnan again attacked Ashwin, raised questions on bowling action

Former Indian spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has again attacked off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. He has raised questions on Ashwin's bowling action on social media platform X. Earlier, Sivaramakrishnan had questioned Ashwin's credentials as a spin bowler in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) countries. He said that changes are made in Indian pitches so that Ashwin can win the Test match by taking wickets.

After making such sharp attacks on Ashwin, fans had criticized him a lot on Instagram. However, Sivaramakrishnan later revealed that he had received a call from Ashwin and the two talked a lot and now things are fine between them. And just a day later, Ashwin's bowling action was again attacked. He recently shared a screen grab of the spinner bowling in the nets at the NCA and raised questions. "Do you still think this bowling action is biomechanically correct??? That's all I'm talking about," he wrote on Twitter.

Talking about the Indian team, they recently won the Asia Cup under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. After this, India won the three-match ODI series against Australia 2-1. The World Cup is going to be held in India and the host team is number 1 in all three formats. In such a situation, she is a strong contender to win the title in the tournament. Ashwin has been included in the World Cup team in place of injured Axar Patel. India will play its first match in the World Cup against Australia on 8 October.

India's World Cup team: Rohit Sharma (captain), Hardik Pandya (vice-captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav.
