Russia is furious over the Canadian Parliament honoring a soldier who fought on behalf of Hitler's Nazi army during the Second World War. On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a major attack on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regarding this issue. Putin has called Trudeau an idiot and said that he has not studied in school.
When Putin was questioned during a program about Canada's actions, he said, if Trudeau does not know that Hitler and his soldiers fought against Russia during the war, then he is an idiot. This means that he did not study in school. They do not have basic knowledge, but if they know this and call that soldier a hero of Ukraine and Canada, then they themselves are villains.
Trudeau's disgrace all over the world
Trudeau was disgraced throughout the world for honoring Nazi soldiers. When Trudeau realized his mistake, he even apologized in Parliament recently. Canada, which was already facing criticism regarding the Khalistani issue with India, is now badly surrounded by the Nazi issue.
Ukrainian President was in Canada last week
Actually, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is fighting against Russia, was in Canada last week. On Friday he gave a speech in the Parliament of Canada. 98 year old Yaroslav Hunka was also invited to participate in this special session. Speaker Anthony Rota, while introducing Hunka, used words like Ukrainian hero and Canadian hero. Members of Parliament also clapped in Hunka's honour.
Later the truth about Hunka was exposed
Later it was revealed that Hunka had also been a soldier of Hitler's infamous Nazi army SS during the Second World War. SS units that were infamous for bringing Jews to concentration camps and then torturing them and brutally killing them. As soon as the truth of Hunka came in front of the people, the Speaker of the Parliament of Canada had to resign.
Trudeau, who clapped in Hunka's honor, came under attack from the people. Anthony Rota, a member of Trudeau's party, said Hunka's honor in parliament has hurt the country's people and communities. Therefore I take full responsibility for my actions. After this he resigned from the post of Speaker.
