'Pakistan will play cricket like Australia and England', Mickey Arthur roared before the first match

Today i.e. on 6th October, Pakistan cricket team is going to start its World Cup campaign. Babar Azam's team will face Netherlands at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The last few days have not been good for the Pakistani team, so they would like to learn from the mistakes of the practice matches and start with a win in this match.

However, before this first match, experienced cricket guru and Pakistan cricket team director Mickey Arthur has given a big statement. He has said that he will play England and Australia brand cricket in this World Cup. Arthur believes the 1992 champions can win a second title by adopting an aggressive brand of cricket like England and Australia.

"The players have adapted to it. It will take some time, but I always say there are always two ways to skin a cat. There is no doubt about that. They will do that," Arthur told The New Indian Express. We are good enough for Pakistan. But we are playing under a brand that suits us. We are playing a brand that is very special to Pakistan and suits our dynamic team. You can play in this World Cup. "See England and Australia playing one brand of cricket. Our players will follow it."

Let us tell you that Arthur will remain with Pakistan even after the World Cup. He will be seen lending his expertise in Pakistan's upcoming series against Australia (December 2023) and West Indies (February 2024). At the same time, if we talk about the Pakistan cricket team, then they are also being considered a strong contender for the trophy, but if the Pakistani team plays the way it played in the two practice matches, then it will be difficult for them to win the World Cup, leave alone even reaching the semi-finals.
