So many hours have passed since Sanjay Singh's arrest but not a single Congress leader has yet come to his house to meet his family. Many questions are being raised regarding this. Sources say that Congress wants to keep itself separate in this case related to money laundering allegations.
After the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh, the central government is being accused of using agencies. After the arrest on Wednesday evening, everyone from Manoj Jha to Danish Ali reached Sanjay Singh's house to meet his family. But not even the tweets of Congress President Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, Jairam Ramesh or any big leader were revealed. This is raising a big question in itself. According to information received from sources, Congress has other intentions than the opposition alliance INDIA.
The picture of that late evening is in everyone's mind when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached the house of BSP MP Danish Ali to encourage him. The derogatory remarks of BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri were criticized by many parties but Rahul and Congress were seen standing together. But after the arrest of Sanjay Singh, neither Rahul went to meet him nor did the big leaders give any statement. Even Congress spokespersons raised questions on the misuse of investigative agencies but did not comment on the matter related to excise policy.
Congress wants to keep itself apart in money laundering case
In the upcoming elections of 5 states, Congress has the highest hopes from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Despite being a constituent party of INDIA, Aam Aadmi Party tried to make the contest triangular in three states. Despite knowing that by doing this, BJP will directly benefit from it. The Election Commission can announce the dates anytime. In such a situation, Congress's focus is on winning the elections. Congress wants to keep itself apart in this case related to money laundering allegations. However, as the main opposition, she will continue to raise questions on the political use of investigating agencies.
Congress created issue in Telangana
The scope of ED's investigation in the Delhi Excise case has reached the doorstep of Telangana CM KCR, ED has summoned his daughter Kavita for questioning. The Delhi government led by Kejriwal is accused of tampering with the excise policy to benefit the South Group. In return, Aam Aadmi Party got a kick back. There are assembly elections in Telangana also and the second largest party Congress is making the role of KCR and his family an issue in the rallies. According to sources, Congress does not want to commit political suicide by supporting Aam Aadmi Party in this matter.
Congress had alleged scam in excise policy
As soon as the Kejriwal government announced the new excise policy, it came under the scanner. At that time, the then Delhi Congress President Anil Chaudhary, Ajay Maken, Sandeep Dixit first raised this issue in a press conference and then also complained. If seen from the perspective of local politics of Delhi, so many arrests, revelations, investigation in this case is also a victory for Delhi Congress. This may prove to be political mileage for the Congress which has been in power in Delhi for 15 consecutive years and is yearning for even one MLA.
Arrest on evidence or BJP-AAP drama
Before the announcement of India alliance, the gap between Congress and Aam Aadmi Party was very deep. Be it Delhi or the state unit of Punjab, they were not at all in favor of any agreement with the Aam Aadmi Party. However, keeping in mind the electoral compulsions, both came on one platform. However, all the Congress leaders continued to believe that AAP is just the B team of BJP. But after a statement by Delhi Congress in-charge Deepak Babaria, there is sure to be an uproar. Expressing doubt on the arrest of Sanjay Singh, Deepak Babaria has said that this could also be a drama of Modi and Kejriwal.
“If ED is used for the purpose of harassing then it is a big attack on democracy. Is there any evidence in the allegations made in the future or is it just a political agenda? We will have to see. Rest, both Kejriwal and Modi ji are experts in doing drama. This is a conspiracy to create some drama, it cannot be called an attempt to show wrestling."
