There is a lot of enthusiasm in the market and among the buyers in this festive season. After Covid, this is a year in which there is no fear of any kind of disease. For this reason, it has been estimated that in the 85 days of the current festive season, a business of Rs 4 lakh i.e. a total of Rs 3 lakh crore can be done every second. Last year, business worth Rs 2.50 lakh crore was seen in the festive season. Let us also tell you what kind of estimates have been made by the Confederation of All India Traders.
CAIT National President BC Bhartia said that this year the festive season has started with Raksha Bandhan and will continue till November 23, the day of Tulsi Vivah. During this period many important festivals like Navratri, Dussehra, Durga Puja, Karva Chauth, Dhanteras, Diwali, Bhai Dooj, Chhath Puja and finally Tulsi Vivah will be celebrated. He said that Indian consumers can spend approximately Rs 3 lakh crore in this festive season.
Estimate of 4 lakh transactions every second
CAT General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal said that its calculation is quite easy. There are approximately 60 crore consumers for mainline retail business in the country. If every consumer spends Rs 5000 then the business automatically becomes Rs 3 lakh crore. If we expand this calculation a little more, then in 85 days there will be a business of more than Rs 3500 crore in a day. The same business is estimated to be more than Rs 147 crore every hour. It is estimated that there will be a turnover of more than Rs 2.45 crore every minute and more than Rs 4 lakh every second.
All these will be purchased
According to CAT officials, now people have completely left the Covid crisis behind and are having a very positive outlook towards their lives. They want to celebrate the festive season with celebration and prosperity.
