These two players of Pakistan will get entry in central contract, Zaka Ashraf suggested

 


Before the start of the World Cup 2023 (ICC Cricket World Cup 2023), on Wednesday, the Pakistan Cricket Board had announced a three-year central contract after reaching an agreement with the players. This contract issued by PCB will run from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2026. PCB has kept 25 players in 4 categories. However, some players have not been included in these, on which Pakistan Cricket Board President Zaka Ashraf has given a big statement.

Two players will get place in the central contract

The names of Test spinners Nauman Ali and Abrar Ahmed were not included in the list of central contracts released by Pakistan Cricket. Whereas former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed was given a place in D category. Talking to a local news channel of Pakistan on these matters, PCB Chief Zaka Ashraf said, 'Eligible players will get full recognition and will be included in the central contract. I have come to know that some players have not got a place in it and they have also complained about it. If injustice has been done to Sarfaraz or anyone else, it will be rectified.

Zaka Ashraf further said, 'The selection committee and team management were responsible for determining the list of players who have been given central contracts. Apart from the central contract, PCB has also increased the match fees. PCB has increased the match fees by 50 percent for Test, 25 percent for ODI and 12.5 percent for T20 International.

Players included in the central contract issued by Pakistan Cricket Board

Category A: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Category B: Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan.

Category C: Imad Wasim and Abdullah Shafiq.

Category D: Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Ihsanullah, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Sam Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Saud Shakeel, Shahnawaz Dahani, Shan Masood, Usama Mir and Zaman Khan.
