ICC ODI World Cup 2023: Bangladesh cricket team has made a great start in the tournament by defeating Afghanistan by 6 wickets in the third match of the World Cup 2023. Afghanistan, batting first, scored only 156 runs and in reply, Bangladesh made a brilliant start by Mehdi Hasan Miraz. Due to all-round performance, the target was achieved by losing only 4 wickets. 

Although many exciting moments were seen in this match, the amazing catch taken by Rahmat Shah during Bangladesh's batting mesmerized everyone. This catch was seen on the first ball of the 29th over of Bangladesh's innings when Mehdi Hasan Miraz played an aerial shot over mid-off on the ball of Naveen Ul Haq.

The connection between Mirage's bat and ball was not good due to which the ball neither got elevation nor distance. However, after the connection of bat and ball, it seemed that the ball would go over mid-off but Rahmat Shah standing at mid-off showed amazing presence of mind and jumped at the right time and caught the catch with just one hand. The video of his charismatic catch is going viral on social media, which you can see below.

Whereas, if we talk about the Afghan team, Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored the maximum 47 runs for them. Apart from this, Ibrahim Zadran and Azmatullah Umarzai scored 22-22 runs. Six batsmen of Afghanistan could not even reach double figures. At one time Afghanistan's score was 83 runs at the loss of 1 wicket but 9 wickets fell within 73 runs and Afghanistan's train was derailed.
