"I was honestly not thinking about coming here (about his late selection for the World Cup). Enjoying the game has been my main objective for the last four to five years," Ashwin said during a conversation with Karthik. And I would like to do it again in this tournament. I told the media person that they should not bring me in front of the camera for some time now, but this is probably one of those situations where they said Dinesh Karthik should interview you. And I accepted this opportunity.

Ashwin further said, "Pressure will play a big role in this tournament. It is good for me to train in a good space. I want to enjoy this tournament. I don't know, but I always say that this "This could be my last World Cup for India. So it's important for me to enjoy the game."
