Will Shubman Gill be able to play in IND vs AFG match? The match will be held in Delhi on 11 October

Shubman Gill Fitness Update: Indian team's star batsman Shubman Gill has suffered from dengue due to which he could not play the match played against Australia (IND vs AUS) in Chennai on October 8. But now a good news related to Gill's fitness is coming out. Actually, according to media reports, it is believed that Gill is making a fast recovery and he can be fit before the match to be played between Pakistan and India (IND vs PAK). However, in the meantime he will not be able to play the match against Afghanistan (IND vs AFG) to be held in Delhi.

A source associated with the Indian team gave information to news agency ANI on the recovery of Shubman Gill. He said, 'Shubman Gill will not go to his home (Chandigarh) for rest and will travel to Delhi with the team. We hope that Gill will return to the field before the match against Pakistan. Whether he will play against Afghanistan or not, things will become clear from his next report.

Let us tell you that if Shubman Gill is not fit then it will be a big blow for the Indian team, because Gill has been one of the best players of India this year. Gill has scored a lot of runs so far in the year 2023, he has scored a total of 1230 runs in 20 matches for the Indian team in ODI cricket at an average of 72.35. This is the reason why the Indian team must be missing Gill.

It is noteworthy that in the absence of Shubman Gill, wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan is opening the batting along with captain Rohit. Ishan Kishan can once again be seen opening for India against Afghanistan on October 11 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, but this time Ishan Kishan will have to perform because he returned to the pavilion without opening the account against Australia.
