World Cup's cocktail connection, beer worth Rs 66 crore and liquor worth Rs 33 crore will flow!

ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is going to start from today. All preparations for this have been done in India. But do you know that this time the World Cup also has a special cocktail connection.

India is hosting the ICC Cricket World Cup alone this year. Companies from every segment want to capitalize on this opportunity, be it a travel booking site or a mobile gaming app. In such a situation, how could liquor or beer manufacturing companies lag behind? That's why this time beer and liquor worth crores of rupees is going to flow in the ICC World Cup.

No-no, we are not talking about people partying after World Cup matches and the liquor and beer flowing there. Rather, we are talking about the companies that have signed sponsorship deals for the ICC Cricket World Cup. These include beer company Bira 91 and whiskey brand Royal Stag.

Bira 91 made a deal worth Rs 66 crore

Sponsorship deals have been signed with 8 official partners for the ICC Cricket World Cup. This includes 'Bira 91'. A deal worth 60 to 80 lakh dollars has been signed with each partner, which is approximately Rs 66 crore as per the maximum limit. Apart from 'Bira 91', these official partners include Polycab, Thums-Up, Upstox, Nissan, Niam, Oppo and DP World.

Royal Stag will give Rs 33 crore

Apart from official partners, ICC has also entered into sponsorship deals with category partners. This deal with each brand is worth 30 to 40 lakh dollars i.e. about Rs 33 crore. This includes liquor manufacturing company Royal Stag. Apart from this, companies like Dream-11, Jacob's Creek, Near Foundation, Fan Craze and Tyka are also category partners of Cricket World Cup.

Byju's and BharatPe are out

ICC makes global partners every time for such big tournaments. Byju's and BharatPe were earlier among the global partners of ICC, but both the companies are going through different types of crisis. For this reason, this time both the companies are going to stay out of such a big cricket tournament.
